  • Alarm Console with enhanced features

The Alarm Console provides an easy, robust means to monitor and manage alarms from multiple Niagara systems through a single client interface. The Alarm Console product is a combination of a service running on the Tridium Web Supervisor server or JACE with the AlarmConsoleService installed and a client application running on the user’s PC as an alarm management control. The Alarm Console Service pushes alarm and alert information to the Alarm Console application over a user-configurable TCP/HTTP/UDP socket.
Users monitor real-time alarms from multiple Web Supervisors through the Alarm Console application. Alarms appear in a pop-up window on the client PC. Users can review or acknowledge alarms, or hide the pop-up window. To ensure operator response to alarms, the pop-up window is set to always be on top of all other desktop applications and cannot be minimized or closed except by user command.
Installers run a configuration wizard to customize the display of alarm attributes in the Alarm Console Application Included is the ability for different WAV files (audible signals) to be played on the client PC, based upon received alarm message “keys.” The Alarm Console monitors the connection between the client and server and indicates a loss of connection to the user.
